Truphone launches on the G1

You would think after launching apps on the BlackBerry, the iPhone and the iPod touch in under three months, as well as new features like IM, our Truphone engineers would want a break.

Wrong!

Truphone for the G1 is perfect for making low cost international calls from your home country, and because it uses Truphone Anywhere, you don't need to be in Wi-Fi to make Truphone calls.

On top of calling, Truphone for the G1 also allows you to Instant Message your MSN Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger contacts, and IM and call your Google Talk contacts, making it even easier to keep in touch.

And for Twitterers, you can update your Twitter status, and see your friends latest tweets, from the comfort of your phone.

Truphone for the G1 is available to download for free from the Android Market on your G1. So if you want a low cost, simple way to keep in touch with friends and family, why not give it a try.

We even give you some free call credit to get you started.

And don't think that the launch of our G1 app means that our Truphone engineers are off for a break now - there are many more new features and applications just around the corner...
