We are calling on you, our Truphone fans, to help us out. We have been nominated for a Crunchie award for 2008's Best Mobile Startup.
The Crunchies website describes the awards as an "award ceremony to recognize and celebrate the most compelling startups, internet and technology innovations of the year."
We are up against some strong competition, so need all the help we can get.

Would you agree that 2008 marked Truphone's true emergence, giving we have gone from just offering a Nokia solution at the start of the year, to also adding BlackBerry, iPhone and iPod touch apps by the end, with plenty more to come in 2009?

Indeed I would - and, incidentally, I'm a fan. My not-particularly-serious thought was more about the vague definition of "startup".
