Truphone for the Nokia now available at Ovi

We are excited to announce that Truphone for the Nokia is now available to download from the Nokia Ovi Store, for a large number of the Truphone-compatible Nokia handsets. Others to follow shortly after.

So now it is even easier to start experiencing Truphone for the Nokia.

UPDATE - To find the application in the Ovi Store, follow these steps:

STEP 1 - Change default Nokia device to 'Any Phone' by clicking the left arrow (the arrow in the green circle below). You should only need to click once.

 

STEP 2 - Type 'truphone' into the search box and press the search icon

 

STEP 3 - Truphone should now appear in the search results. Select the application, and then follow the instructions to download. 

Please note, not all Nokia handsets are supported on the Ovi Store. The Truphone website is still a great place for downloading the app for any of the Truphone-compatible Nokia handsets, but it is nice to have a choice!

I searched on OVI, almost every day since the blog entry, no results when using the search box, can you tell me where on OVI I can find ((truphone)). By the way OVI is awful, I have an iPhone, OVI looks like we are back to the 80th. Not sure how NOKIA wants to win the race against Apple, right now they have NO chance.

Question:
Why can't the Truphone Nokia Symbian client support online presence of other Truphone users? The new skype symbian client supports online presence... this would be very nice to have with Truphone!

Seems that all the development lately is on the iphone implementation. There are many heritage nokia truphone users out there..
