Child-free flying

There has been talk recently of airlines being urged to start offering adult-only, child-free flights at a premium, and Ryanair has committed to starting child-free flights from October (although that announcement came out on April Fool's Day!).

For people flying regularly, who use the flight as a chance to catch up on work or a bit of sleep, having a noisy child nearby would be the last thing they want.

However, banning children from particular flights might be a dangerous step, as one commentator said, and questioned whether the next step would be to ban overweight people, or those with bad breath.

So, what do you think? Would you be willing to pay a little extra for the privilege?

Since people are now waiting longer to have kids overall, and more people are not having them at all, there should be child free flights. More and more people are wanting to focus on their life as a dual income no kids couple (DINK) and therefore need and can afford the upcharge of a kid free flight. it is all part of "livin the DINKlife!" It's a DINK mentality, that is why there is DINKlife.com!
