Child-free flying

There has been talk recently of airlines being urged to start offering adult-only, child-free flights at a premium, and Ryanair has committed to starting child-free flights from October (although that announcement came out on April Fool's Day!).

For people flying regularly, who use the flight as a chance to catch up on work or a bit of sleep, having a noisy child nearby would be the last thing they want.

Exactly why are roaming charges so high?

Magnifying-glass-and-money-(small) Over the past few months we have seen significant rise in media attention around international roaming fees (1 2 3 4 and many more). There are innumerable (often frightening) accounts of customers experiencing bill shock after they’ve used their phones abroad, but it is only now that the media are really looking at alternative solutions to the traditional networks and that finally people are asking the question; “why is it so darned expensive?”

Are you a fan of the emergency exit row seat?

Emergency-exit-row You either love it or hate it. An emergency exit row seat can provide with a crucial extra legroom in those seemingly innocent short-haul economy flights that end up taking ages. However coming with its own additional safety requirements (that we all completely agree with) it can sometimes be an extra hassle that may not be worth it.
