Tru Racing #Winning

After a few excellent weeks with our Tru Racing team (launching our Ford Focus ST NGTC, Aron Smith's progress in the BTCC and Mat Jackson's continued superb results), we now have even more great news.

Over the weekend the Motorbase team went into the final round of racing of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship at Donington Park and were one of a group of five cars who could win the overall title.

The season has been one of the most fiercely fought to date and in the final race, the Motorbase Tru Racing team finished in fourth place - and thus took the overall title by a mere three and a half points.

It's been a monumental effort by drivers (Daniele Perfetti and Michael Caine) and team alike, led by Motorbase Team Boss, David Bartrum who was clearly delighted, "It is a stunning result for the team," he said. "British GT has such an impressive grid of cars and a high quality field. It's been a thoroughly enjoyable season. To arrive here at the start of the season and see so much quality from Aston Martin, Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche, and to race against them and win: that's not a bad first year for the team. I'm over the moon for my guys who've worked very hard all year, as have our drivers."

Perhaps a bit more attention to you business and less to your racing, please! I was told that I would have a local phone number in The Netherlands on my Tru SIM Q3 2011 at the latest. This is the only reason I got the Tru SIM. Still waiting....
