Say hello to Tru

Fall

Today is a big day for us.

As of today, ‘Truphone’ is now simply known as ‘Tru’ - which is what we are to our customers. Tru is to be for the other people, those who have had enough of paying through the nose to stay in touch when they are abroad.

We want to help you stay in touch wherever you are without the fear of being hit by unjustifiably high roaming charges.

New tru logo Our new brand, ‘Tru’, the world’s first global mobile network, is designed to stand out from the price-led clutter of traditional mobile networks. We want our bold messages to encourage businesses to re-think the old fashioned convention that roaming abroad means exorbitant mobile phone charges.

Because it doesn’t, not with us anyway.

You’ll notice the change at every Tru touch point. Our brand new website for one. We hope the new website makes it simpler to understand Tru, easier to get help when you need it, and more fun to use.

Truphone appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

Truphone-world-and-a-phone We are super excited to announce that Chris Moss has just joined us as Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Chris has earned himself a phenomenal reputation in the industry as a brand galvaniser. He’s created three billion-dollar brands including Virgin Atlantic, which he joined when it had only one route and one aircraft and transformed into an award winning airline; Orange (which he rebranded from Microtel) and 118118, where he was behind the famous moustached running duo.
